ABOUT US

About us

The National Capital Outaouais Ski Team is a program jointly designed by the Outaouais Ski Zone and National Capital Division with the objective to unite top skiers in the Ottawa/Gatineau region.  Since 1999, the NCO Ski Team has been a preeminent ski program on the National and Provincial scene, consistently moving athletes to the ON and QC provincial ski teams.

VISION

To provide an exceptional athletic program in a positive, competitive, enjoyable atmosphere, to help each athlete reach his/her’s maximum potential as a ski racer and young adult.

To develop individuals who are passionate towards skiing and ski racing, who are intrinsically motivated towards success and long term involvement in the sport of skiing.

And to develop athletes who are independent thinkers with the tools needed to succeed at the provincial ski team or college level competition.

We value passion, respect, work ethic and commitment.  We value the process towards athletic achievement before the outcome, learning from mistakes along the way.

MANDATE

To provide an exceptional racing and training program in a competitive, enjoyable atmosphere that will help each athlete mature and reach his/her maximum potential as a ski racing and young adult.
